Deposits, cancellations, rescheduling & turnaround
We understand that plans change. This policy explains how deposits, cancellations, rescheduling, and completed-work pickup are handled for coating, laser, and powder coat jobs, as well as custom firearm and NFA orders.
Coating, Laser & Powder Coat Jobs
Deposits & Cancellations
Some jobs require a deposit to reserve a spot in our queue and cover materials. You may cancel or reschedule before we begin prep or coating with a full refund of any deposit. Once prep, blasting, or coating has started, the deposit and any work performed to that point are non-refundable, since materials and labor have already been committed to your parts.
Rescheduling
If you need to reschedule a drop-off or pickup, contact us as early as you can and we will do our best to accommodate you. Turnaround times listed on our service pages are estimates and can vary with workload, part condition, and color or material availability.
Customer-Supplied Parts
Parts must arrive clean and prepared as described on the relevant service page. If parts require additional prep, stripping, or disassembly, this may add cost and time to your job — we will let you know before proceeding. We are not responsible for pre-existing wear, damage, or defects in customer-supplied parts.
Completed Work & Pickup
We will notify you when your work is complete. Please arrange pickup promptly. Items left uncollected for an extended period after completion and notice may be treated as abandoned property to the extent permitted by law. Contact us if you need additional time.
Custom Firearm & NFA Orders FFL
Non-Refundable Deposit
Custom firearm and NFA orders are sourced to your specification and require a non-refundable deposit at the time of order. Because these items are ordered specifically for you, deposits cannot be refunded once the order is placed with our distributor.
NFA Items & ATF Processing
NFA items are held in ATF-compliant secure storage during Form 4 processing and cannot be released until ATF approval is received. Once a Form 4 has been submitted to the ATF, the transfer cannot be cancelled. You remain responsible for meeting all federal and Minnesota eligibility requirements.
Transfers & Eligibility
If a background check is denied or you are found ineligible to receive a firearm under federal or state law, the firearm cannot be released to you, and any applicable fees for work already performed still apply. We reserve the right to decline any transfer or sale at our discretion.
Questions? If you have questions about a deposit, cancellation, reschedule, or pickup, contact us at [email protected] or through our contact page, where our address and phone number are listed. This policy works alongside our Terms of Service.
